Rare marks on Chinese ceramics: A joint exhibition from Percival David foundation of Chinese Art and the Victoria and Albert Museum 182pp, colour illus. This is the fisrt exhibition in Europe to concentrate on a special category of ceramic inscriptions which are known as owner's marks. From the 16th century people ordering ceramics from jingdezhen and other kilns had the possibility of inscribing the wares with their own names.
